I don’t even know how to begin to describe how amazing this wedding was. SO full of meaning, family, and fun things that this couple likes. What a creative couple! With an ALL STAR team and a couple with great style . . . you have a perfect wedding . . . (featured here on Wedding Chicks)

Mike & Annabelle
8.18.12
I can remember our first meeting over coffee . . . pretty much Annabelle said that she wanted everything “non wedding” . . . and I knew it was going to be fun! Mike and Annabelle had SUCH great ideas throughout the entire wedding planning process. And I love that they were both there the whole way. Through many crafts nights (Mike did the manly crafts), countless meetings and emails . . . I made some great friends:)
For the amazing wedding:
(Photographer by some FAB people Heather and Adam of Gemmer Photography. They are just so incredible with an eye for unique shots and they captured this wedding perfectly!)
This venue was stunning. Owned by a landscape architect, you know it will be fabulous and it sure was!
Of course we have Yessie doing hair and makeup! She is always amazing!
Annabelle and Mike told all of their guests to wear bow ties, fascinators, and there was going to be a mustache contest!
The maids fascinators:
Sister/brother time:
At the entrance Mike typed a greeting:)
Olga (Annabelle’s sweet mother) was a part of the crafting/planning process. She sure makes a mean cafe con leche, I miss them!!! Even on the wedding day she made me one while I was setting up! <3 font="">3>
Annabelle’s proud papa . . .
Last few details . . . and then time for the
{First Look}
And how adorable is this, they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony so we did a first “non-look”
and this just shows how their fun and cute relationship is . . . she kept poking him and it was hilarious!
Her shoes!!!
There were handmade signs for all of the “stations” made by Annabelle! She’s so crafty:)
View around the venue, beauty everywhere you turned!
All of the personal flowers (and AMAZING food and drinks) were done by Blue Ribbon Cooking School. Always amazing:)
We had so many fun pieces from Vintage Ambiance (thanks Beckie!).
The guestbook was this big clock seen below, which actually I gave to the couple. They wanted something more than just a book, something they could use in their home for life:) Awww!
These hedges!!!
One of my many fave parts of this stunning venue. They were like 20-25 feet high! As guests walked in to the garden towards the ceremony they saw the old family photos clipped along the hedges, from relatives from both families.
Can you believe Annabelle’s handwriting and chalkboard skills??!!
As guests walked in they were greeted with appetizers and a signature drink:)
{The Ceremony}
See that guy in the back row? Yes he is a balloon artist!
HOW ADORABLE is Yanna, their pup?
What a good flower pup/ring bearer with the “ring log”
OH and those sticks with wine bottles and babys breathe? I made those;)
Annabelle’s friend/bridesmaid married them:)
The’re married!!!
Steve plaid the accordion as guests walked in, and after the ceremony.
It fit the wedding style perfectly!
YES gnomes everywhere!!! There was even a gnome hunt for the guests, we hid a bunch of gnomes throughout the garden and A&M had a little message on each one, with a link to their own gnome facebook page, where they were to take them with them on their travels and post photos.
During the cocktail hour guests were looking ALL over for them!!!
Yanna standing proud!
Annabelle made these!!! So adorable.
Ok so I made this one a little bigger so you could see the lower right side . . . and just in case you can’t lol it reads “bestest planner of all time, space and federation of planets” . . . Love you Annabelle!!! I mean I can’t imagine a better shout out in a wedding program!
The girls . . .
AND the guys . . .
{The Reception}
HOW amazing is the Farmer’s Market??! They wanted to show their out of town guests a little mix of Seattle, as well as adding some Seattle AND Cuban coffee (in lieu of Annabelle’s family). All items were local. There were mini jams, honey, caramels, and both types of coffee. SO yummy and adorable, and of course each item had mini tags on them. The canvas totes were also made by Annabelle, with a Washington map and a heart where Seattle is. SO CUTE! Have I mentioned I LOVE this couple??!
Oh and the cake from Honey Crumb Cake Studio was perfect!
For cake spooning!!! Bet you haven’t seen that before:)
Also here but hard to see are the cake pops (which look like trees), wood grain cupcakes, and mini pies. YUM.
This was the mustache contest!!! There were prizes for the winning mustache as well as the winning fascinator for the ladies. Winner was chosen by the loudest applause:)
SO FUN!
Along with wine tasting (with an actual wine sommelier), they brought in an espresso cart, which was a HIT! Thanks Espresso Elegance!!!
Annabelle and her family are all about Salsa (Bachata) dancing . . . her dance with her father was adorable!
AND the DJ’s/Salsa Instructors from Salsa N Seattle also did a few Salsa lessons, which got every single person on the dance floor!
(even the wedding planner and the makeup artist lol!)
Packed dance floor!
And then everyone danced the night away . . .
Seriously I will never ever forget this amazing wedding, or these people. Annabelle and Mike thank you SO much for trusting me with your wedding, and also thank you for thinking outside of the box. It was a magical night and I can’t imagine it going any better.
Ok and we’re due for another Happy Hour!!!
xoxo
